Angel Villagran Munoz, Mechatronics: Open Lab Time

The whole time I did mostly of learning more about the little robot. But I worked on mainly the net flex slides since it needed a little redone. I only got a few done but overall the slides are coming to a close perfection from what I am seeing.

Angel Villagran Munoz, Mechatronics: 30 Mins Open Lab

Today for our little group project on the dog food machine, we were focusing on how the motor part of the project would work. What I done to find more about how the motors would work, I've looked on what sort of mechanic we need. I stumbled across a little device called the Adafruit.  What I found about this little device is that this can be useful for controlling the motors for the dog food machine. Though I need to do a little more research about it but all in all I get the bits of idea on how it works. I added a little docs to find the resources again when I need to have a little refresher on what I am trying to understand.

Angel Villagran Munoz, Mechatronics: 30 mins Open Lab

Today what I have done was mainly working on the dog food project. I was understanding what the mechanisms on how they would work. The coding part was the most struggling part as we may have to understand what does what. I have the parts that would work with our machine since it would make sense. Sooner or later, I would need to code far more to understand the concept. And so I would practice to the point where I can work every points in making it.

Angel Villagran Munoz, Mechatronics PM: 30 Mins Work Time

From the whole time I began to winder what the "for loop" portion of coding would be difficult. I then began to get some help from one of my classmates and got some understanding. I proceeded to work on my little meter thing now. I got down the measuring of it and got the idea of how it works. I will soon measure the current which I can possibly need help with but also get the basic calculations of the voltage.

Angel: Working on Robot club

Today, We were talking about more of the robot dog food dispenser. We were looking at the design ideas of what we should make the thing look like. And mostly it was more of the talk on how the food should be dispense. So we are doing more on little treats.

Angel: Discussion on our Robot Dog Food Dispenser

Today, What I have done is cooperated with my robotics group and discussed about our little robot. We managed to come up with a few questions that we would need to understand before we started to analyze our ideas further on. We needed to understand the person we are going to help out and so to do that, we would need to understand the following; What is the size of the dog? What food type for the dog do we insist in focusing on more? What area should this machine be placed?  What is the layout of the room/home? Battery powered or plug in? Any size criteria of this machine?   These are the start to what our group needs to understand. These questions would help us look for what the person we are helping would prefer more. As the robot we are creating would be a change to someones life.

Open Lab: Soldering Lab

I kept practicing with the whole soldering today. I feel like I progressed very well today as from before I was very terrible at it from the beginning. Now I got the feel and done a few more of the wires which I succeeded in soldering.
